They were left devastated when the model suffered a miscarriage last month.

But it looks like Kelly Brook and boyfriend Thom Evans are helping each other through their heartbreak by spending quality time together.

The pin-up, 31, and former rugby player Evans, 26, looked besotted with each other as they enjoyed a romantic lunch in Kent yesterday.

Wearing a red summer dress and ankle boots, laidback Brook had a big smile on her face as she headed out for a day with her man.

After the model lost their unborn baby girl in early May, the pair have been keeping a low profile, holed up at her Kent farmhouse with her mother Sandra Parsons.

Brook has made just two appearances - having a night out with her girlfriends in London a few weeks ago and another evening at Mahiki with Evans last weekend.

Her gradual return to the limelight comes a week after she broke her silence and thanked fans for their support on Twitter.

Following a month-long break from the micro-blogging site as she tried to come to terms with her loss, Brook wrote: 'Thank you everyone for your lovely messages, it means so much. I will be back soon xxxxxx.'

After announcing her pregnancy in March, Brook admitted it was unplanned but believed she had found 'the one' in 26-year-old Evan - a former teammate of her most recent ex-boyfriend Danny Cipriani.

She said: 'That is what happens when you are in love - you surrender to whatever is to be. It wasn't a plan, but if it happened, it happened. We were boyfriend and girlfriend.'

Brook is the latest of several celebrities to lose their babies in recent months.

Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden's baby boy was stillborn at seven months in February and singer Lily Allen also suffered the same fate last November when she was six months pregnant.
