Digital Spy has a video interview with the lovely Alex Kingston who plays Professor River Song in the two upcoming Doctor Who episodes The Time of Angels and Flesh and Stone.
I listed the most interesting points of this interview and also added the video for your viewing pleasure:
- River Song is released from jail on a special dispensation because she's the only one who can ''do'' the mission
- She has a blue diary (first seen in Silence in the Library/ Forest of the Dead) with the images of all the Doctors
- A weeping Angel is in the hands of a collector
- She needs confirmation from the Doctor that it is a Weeping Angel
- They are doing the story of the crash of the Byzantium
- It's not the first time she will have met the Doctor (in her timeline of course)
- There's a party on the ship with people dressed in 1940s style. However we only see River dressed in 1940s clothes
- Though she didn't say, I believe Alex Kingston will also be in the finale because she mentions the opening of the Pandorica. [Digital Spy]
