I thought I had this news up about a few weeks ago, regarding Emma's new project next summer, so I apologize for not posting this bit of news, now there is another project for Emma that apparently will take place at the end of this month.
Emma's official website is stating that she was cast to voice the role of Princess Pea in the upcoming animated movie "The Tale of Despereaux," which is rumored to come out in December 2008. This will take place in the summer, in between breaks from the Harry Potter movies.
And the other project it is just a rumor for this moment until she or her representative confirm it. According to the Sunday Mirror Emma has been cast in the upcoming BBC adaptation of the children's tale "Ballet Shoes", in which she will play an orphan. She will be costarring alongside fellow Harry Potter actor Richard Griffiths (Uncle Vernon), Victoria Wood and Marc Warren. This will be a 90 minute T.V. drama and it is said to be "the centrepiece of the Beeb's Christmas line-up" for the BBC, filming starts at the end of this month:
Ballet Shoes follows the tale of three orphaned sisters who are adopted by an eccentric explorer and raised by his niece.
