Not Much Activity in Paranormal Activity 2 Teaser

We're a bit late in getting this up on the blog, but we did post a link earlier today on the Facebook page with this teaser for Paranormal Activity 2.

I loved the hell out of Paranormal Activity, and this preview shows more of the same, only with a dog and baby in on the action. There is no need for a sequel, but I do hold out hope that the follow up adds to the mythology and doesn't just rehash what we've seen before.

Check out the trailer below and share your thoughts, feelings and concerns.

Leaving Eclipse Screening, NYC

                          title

Kristen Stewart is famous for changing into her casual attire after gracing the red carpet and it was no different for the star after the NYC attending the NYC screening of Eclipse. Showing off her new locks in a plait updo Kristen changed into a legging/tee combo.

Kristen wears 7 For All Mankind Gummy Gwenevere Super Skinny Leggings in Grey which are available to purchase here for $169. One thing i like about Kristen is her ability to wear slim fitting jeans/leggings like no other. Her legs are simply one of her best assets, she must know this as she continues to show them off. If i had them too i would. She pairs her leggings with a New York City Transit Authority Tee and some black canvas Keds Champion Sneakers.

Steven Moffat Teases Series 6 of Doctor Who

Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat opened up to Digital Spy and teased us about what to expect in series 6 of Doctor Who next year.

There are two pressing mysteries that will be resolved next season, the first one concerns the very mysterious ''Silence,'' that chilling voice we heard in The Pandorica Opens that is probably behind most of the events of series 5:
"What is that, who is that, who are the silence, what's coming?" he teased. "The whole point of the silence is next series.''
The second mystery that will be answered is the one about River Song:
"Also, River Song... who is she really? That's what we're going to find out next year."
[Digital Spy]

Does anyone want to start their bets as to who and what each will turn out to be?

News and Rumours on Upcoming Doctor Who Christmas Episode and Series 6

I usually don't do this BUT been a bit hectic today so instead of making a résumé of these news I'm putting them as is.

These news have all been compiled on the IO9 website and may or may not include spoilers for the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas episode and for Series 6, as well as a bit of possible info about The Sarah Jane Adventures episode that will feature the Doctor and former companion Jo Grant:

Filming for the Christmas Special will begin July 12-16 in Swansea. The episode is being written by Steven Moffat and will feature both a former cast member of legendary British soap Eastenders and a Hollywood actor. There are also rumors of a "big, big name playing a massive role", which likely describes one of those two other people. "Silence", the major arc of series six, is mentioned at least once in the special, and we hear again from the creepy voice first heard in the TARDIS during The Pandorica Opens - apparently this voice still has some control of the TARDIS.

As for the story itself, this is still up in the air. It was originally thought the special would be set in 1500's England, possibly involving Henry VIII. However, the lines about the Egyptian goddess and the Orient Express in space at the end of The Big Bang were an absolute last minute addition, so they may represent the new direction for the special.

Either way, there are rumors the special will have undertones of A Christmas Carol - something that's been rumored since at least The Runaway Bride, but still - complete with a possible appearance by a past Doctor as the Ghost of Christmas Past. Those Doctors under consideration for this are supposedly Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, and David Tennant, which makes sense when you consider the other Doctors' ages, appearances, or total unwillingness to ever have anything to do with the show ever again. (Also, a few of them are dead, which I guarantee is the only thing stopping Patrick Troughton.) This is probably all nonsense anyway, but here's hoping for a little multi-Doctor goodness.

Moving onto series six, Rory will indeed remain as the Doctor's companion, and in fact will have "loads more to do", which makes me very happy indeed. Amy has "a biiiig secret to get off her chest (nothing bad)!" Obviously, the semi-literal way to interpret that wording is that she's pregnant, but I kind of hope that's not the case. Most importantly, River Song is definitely back, but with a big difference: when we see her in series six, it'll be the first time she meets the Doctor.

And here's who is reportedly writing for the next series: Steven Moffat (of course), Neil Gaiman (probably Episode 3), Paul Cornell, Tom MacRae, Phil Ford (who might be handling the non-Moffat two-parter), and Rob Shearman. As always, please treat these message-board reports as rumor until they're confirmed via official channels.

Finally, on The Sarah Jane Adventures front, Amy and Rory will likely be off on their honeymoon when the Doctor makes his guest appearance, but it's hard to tell whether that's an actual rumor or just a very reasonable guess.

[Major tip of the hat to Bluehinter for compiling all of this in the comments section.]
[Io9]

Rory full-time on board the Tardis? this news is expected but still marvelous to hear. I haven't seen any official confirmation yet.

River Song's actual first meeting with the Doctor? Bring it on Mr. Moffat, bring it on!!

As for a possibly returning Doctor, everyone knows I want that returning Doctor to be David Tennant BUT if that would not be the case, or if it wouldn't be possible for him to return yet, I would be delighted if Paul McGann (the Eight Doctor) were to make a long awaited return appearance!

What does any one else think. Do you think some of these rumours could turn out to be true? Any one of them you find interesting?

Contest Reminder

                     outtake 2

Just a little reminder about the Polyvore contest. This week has been full of Kristen appearances but so far only 1 person has entered *sad face*. There is a first, second and third place so i hope there will be some more entries!

Contest Details

As you are all very aware Kristen is set to begin pre production for 'On the Road' which she is set to begin filming late July/Early August. The book is set in 1947 i believe and was published in the 1950's. This is a period of great fashion movement to i am asking you to submit your 1940's/1950's Kristen sets! It's very general so feel free to get creative. How would you like to see Kristen dressed in this movie? I've put a week duration on it and there will be 3 winners.

Enter Here

Note: If this goes well I'm hoping to have another ‘Dream Outfits’ post for you guys. This time I'm hoping to allow people to vote for their favourite and we will have an overall winner. I’m just thinking out loud so let me know your opinions.

Regis & Kelly

regis & kelly title

Kristen appeared on Regis & Kelly this morning. She continues her NYC press tour with an appearance on the Today show later today.

Regis & Kelly Interview

Kristen wears a dress from the Peter Pilotto Spring 2010 Collection. Pilotto’s spring 2010 collection happened to be one of my favourite collections so i happy with this particular dress choice. I love the dark blue in contrast with her newly auburn hair (love the new locks). Some dark purple Christian Louboutin Bianca 140 patent-leather pumps finish this look off nicely. So far I'm loving NYC Kristen, is it down to the new hair? Who knows but she is oozing confidence this week and she should, she looks fantastic.

Today Show

today show title

Kristen appeared on the Today show continuing her fantastic NYC promo tour. Another great look here and a contrast to her earlier look on Regis & Kelly.

Today Show Appearance

Kristen wears a Helmut Lang Mesh Cut Out Tank Dress which you can purchase here for $212.50. The dress is currently on sale with 50% off so if you want to purchase yourself one I'd do so quickly. I do like this dress for Kristen, maybe not as much as her earlier Peter Pilotto dress but it is a good look none the less. Kristen's shoes are the Christian Louboutin Elisa Pumps from the fall 2010 collection. Kristen wears these in nude. This look is another success for me personally, it’s mature, sexy and simple.

Hot Casting News for US Version of Being Human

Seems like the American version of Being Human has found its vampire Aidan (it's Mitchell in the Original UK version). According to Ausiello, the vampire will be played by former Smallville super baddie Sam Witwer.

As well, actress Meaghan Rath (The Assistants) as signed on to play the role of ghost Molly (Annie). Not officially cast yet but believed to be in the running for the role of the werewolf Josh (George) is Sam Huntington (Superman Returns, Cavemen).
[Ask Ausiello]

Being Human is about a vampire, a ghost and a werewolf living together and trying to blend in with the rest of the world. I hope the US version will work as well as the British original does.
So what do you think of these casting news?

And do you think Witwer will be as swoon worthy great as Aidan Turner is in the role?

Just leaving you with that image and thought. You can absolutely click on it. Just saying.

Eclipse Screening, NYC

title 3

Kristen attended a screening for Eclipse in New York this evening. She continued to flaunt her newly auburn locks in yet another little black dress. I loved the braid in her hair tonight, it’s unusual to see this on Kristen and it makes a nice change to the other hairstyles we have seen on this press tour.  I think the the new hair colour is giving her a chance to revamp herself a little and so far i like what i see. Are you guys a fan of her new look?

Can we take a minute to admire this braid? (in love)

Kristen wore a dress from the Roland Mouret Fall 2010 Collection. Kristen wears a modified black version with purple shell detailing. Strangely i have a folder on my laptop entitled ‘Kstew possible steeze’ and this dress was in there from several months ago. That’s four items now she has worn from that folder on this press tour! Yes i realise that story was pointless but i just though i would share. I love this dress and the shell detailing, i think the purple hues compliment her newly auburn hair nicely. Personally i believe Kristen is someone who is willing to take a fashion risk and this is what draws me to her. Some purple patent leather Louboutins pumps completed this look.

In my opinion another NYC success.
